Video Content Creator: Hybrid Role

Role Summary: We’re hiring a female Short-Form Video Content Creator with healthy, beautiful hair to help grow our haircare brand through TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. You’ll plan, film, and edit vertical videos—sometimes featuring your own hair, sometimes sourcing footage from other channels—creating engaging content that teaches, entertains, and drives sales. If you’re creative, love following trends, understand what makes content perform, and are genuinely passionate about haircare, we want you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan weekly video content around product launches, hair tips, before/after transformations, seasonal routines, and trending topics
  • Create videos using multiple sources: your own hair, stock footage, customer content, and other relevant clips
  • Stay on top of trends. Watch what’s trending on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook—then jump on relevant haircare trends and popular sounds quickly
  • Write scripts and create videos with strong opening hooks (first 3 seconds count!); add captions and clear calls-to-action that get people to click
  • Appear on camera when needed to showcase products, tutorials, and routines using your own hair
  • Work with other creators and source user-generated content; get proper permissions to repost and boost their content as ads
  • Post content on each platform with the right titles, descriptions, hashtags, and formatting for best performance
  • Track weekly performance: views, watch time, clicks, engagement, and sales; suggest new ideas based on what’s working
  • Keep content true to our brand, relatable to the haircare community, and compliant with platform rules

  • You have healthy, beautiful hair and are comfortable appearing on camera when needed—people should see you as relatable and trustworthy
  • Haircare is your genuine passion. You truly care about ingredients, hair routines, scalp health, and seeing real results—not just creating content
  • You understand what drives sales. You think about hooks, product benefits, and creating videos that make people want to buy
  • You know TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. You understand what works on each platform and how to adjust content for each one
  • You can shoot and edit videos from multiple sources. You can film original content, source and edit clips from various channels, and mix them into compelling videos using tools like CapCut or Premiere Pro
  • You write hooks that grab attention in 3 seconds and create calls-to-action that get clicks
  • You know how to work with other creators. You can give them clear direction and get the right permissions to use their content in ads
  • You track what works and what doesn’t. You check views, watch time, clicks, and sales—then adjust your content based on the data
  • You follow haircare trends. You naturally watch what haircare influencers are doing, what products are launching, and what routines are going viral
  • You work well with teams. You communicate clearly with marketing, customer service, and product teams to create content quickly
  • You handle feedback well. You’re open to direction, don’t take criticism personally, and stay calm during busy times
  • You love testing new ideas. You try different hooks, video styles, and approaches—but you also know when something doesn’t fit our brand
  • You care about community. You enjoy responding to comments, sharing customer results, and connecting with our audience
